I am very concerned about my own health and the health of my family and peers at home. I have read many articles by a hysterical media that this is a deadly disease for which there is virtually no treatment. Since I lack the functional thinking capability to wikipedia this myself, can you please reassure me such that the yield rate of Princeton University continues to be high and thus ensure that it remains atop the entirely rigorously defined US News Rankings for a third year in a row. Go Tigers, ROAR.

You should not let the risk of meningitis deter you from attending social events, according to the University’s website. Quoted directly from the University website:

“No. The CDC and state health officials recommend that activities on the Princeton campus continue as planned. Casual contact with Princeton student does not put you at risk for meningitis.”
